Thank you to our fundraiser of the month, Craig Hanlon-Smith, who ran the Brighton Half Marathon for us in February!

Congratulations to Craig who raised an absolutely incredible £2,033 from completing the Brighton Half Marathon 2017. We’d like to say a huge thank you from all of us here at Terrence Higgins Trust for being such an amazing supporter – thank you so much for getting hot and sweaty for us!

Why Craig put on his running shoes for Terrence Higgins Trust…

'For over thirteen years I have been writing articles for GScene Magazine in Brighton that have often ended with the phrase 'Get up off your disco arse and do something'. Well now it was my turn.

'On December 1 last year, I was shocked to work with some young people who didn’t know it was World AIDS Day, but more so that many of them had not heard of HIV or AIDS. These were 17 and 18 year old young adults, in London, who have spent their lives in a publicly funded education system. I was, and remain, appalled.

'So on February 26 I took part in the Vitality Brighton Half Marathon on behalf of Terrence Higgins Trust to help support their vital work.'
