Rambla’s menu focuses on Catalan cuisine, the food of chef-patron Victor Garvey's youth, and takes its name from Barcelona’s famous thoroughfare La Rambla.
The menu is divided into three sections – Cru - raw & cured; Mar – seafood; and Muntanya – mountains. Typical dishes include Fresh Mediterranean Sea Urchin with Iberico Lard Toast; Jumbo Scallop, Smoked Roe Sauce, Crystallised Veal Jus; and ‘Bocatta de Butifarra Negra’ Catalan Black Pudding Sandwich, Green Apple Slaw.
The menu is complemented by an all-Spanish wine list available by the glass and bottle, as well as a wide variety of gin & tonics and classic cocktails.
The interior is light and atmospheric, reminiscent of Barcelona’s elegant-but-casual beachfront restaurants.
Rambla brings to Soho many of the characteristics of its acclaimed Covent Garden sister restaurants Encant and Sibarita, while being very much its own place; the food will be familiar to anyone who knows Catalan cuisine while also being innovative and fun.
