Positive Lives is a unique international project that photographs and documents the social and emotional impact of the global HIV/AIDS epidemic. It illuminates positive human responses to the world crisis.

Through exhibitions and community outreach progammes, electronic, print and broadcast media, Positive Lives raises awareness amongst opinion leaders, policy-makers and the public. It inspires action and challenges the fear, prejudice and misunderstanding surrounding HIV/AIDS.

Dipex is a charity that was set up to record and share patient's experiences of illness. It's aimed not only at patients, their carers, family and friends but as a teaching resource for health professionals. Their website, Healthtalkonline, contains interviews with everyday people about their own experiences of serious illness, health problems or health related matters.
The site also provides reliable information about each illness, condition or health issue e.g. What is HIV? or What is the treatment for…?, and there are answers to frequently asked questions and questions that have been raised during the interviews.
You can listen to and watch other people's experiences of HIV here.
