Face to face

THT Direct is now more direct than ever – you can come and see us in person. We’re offering support, information and advice appointments of up to an hour at 2 or 3pm from Mondays to Fridays.

You can arrange to come into our Kings Cross office and talk to one of our trained advisors in confidence and privacy.

If you’re HIV positive, affected by HIV, or worried about your sexual health, it could be just the help you need to make sense of things and get the most out of us and other people who can help.

We can act as a gateway to other services and help you find the ones that suit you. There's lots of ways we can help - just phone or email to make a face-to-face appointment.

What happens when I make an appointment?

When you make an appointment, one of our advisers will talk to you about your situation, so that we can have relevant information ready for you.

When you come in to the office, we will meet you and take you into a quiet room, so you can talk to our adviser in privacy. We will try to answer your questions, give you time to talk things through, and we can also give you any leaflets which might be relevant to you or supply you with condoms.

When you come in your adviser will also be able to talk to you about what other services are available to you. For example, if you would like ongoing support through a counsellor, a peer group or a community support volunteer or if you would like advice on benefits, immigration or housing, our advisers will be able to explain how you can access those kinds of services either run by THT or by other organisations.
