Ask the Trainer

Welcome to Ask the Trainer – our enquiry service that lets Londoners living with HIV ask their questions online to the same health trainers that they would meet in the community.

We can help with all kinds of issues that might come about HIV in your life. For example you might want to know more about how the immune system works, what CD4 and viral load mean, or how retroviral treatments work.

We can also give you advice about difficult issues such as telling other people about your status, and how to make your sex as safe as possible.

We should get back to you in 2 working days although it might take us slightly longer if things are busy. The part of the form that asks about your personal details is optional – you don’t have to fill these in, it’s up to you, although they might help us to answer your question more fully. We do need to know how to get back in touch with you though, so please leave an email address or phone number.

If you live outside London please contact THT Direct for details of a similar service in your area. About you
