What is Talksafe?

Talksafe is a place where you can go to find out facts and get help with your problems.

If you're a Londoner between 10 and 18 Talksafe is for you. As well as giving you the facts about growing up you can talk to someone safely and privately if you want to.

Someone to talk to

Talksafe lets you ask questions and talk to a mentor or counsellor if you'd like some support.

• Mentors are young people like you who've been trained to help you
• Counsellors are qualified adults who are trained to help with all kinds of problems.

Neither counsellors or mentors are allowed to tell anyone else what you tell them. It's safe to talk to them - no-one will find out.

There's message boards where you can share your experiences with other young people too - so why not get involved?
