Terrence Higgins Trust (THT) campaigns for greater public and political understanding of the personal, social and medical impact of HIV and sexual health. We do this by:

• working with politicians of all kinds, nationally and locally
• putting across our point of view to the media
• supporting people with HIV and poor sexual health to speak out about their experience
• training people to campaign locally on the issues that matter to them
• supporting a network of more than 3,000 email campaigners, which you can join.

Current campaigns

THT is currently running campaigns to:

• get the government to incorporate Personal, Social and Health Education into the Curriculum
• reduce the risk of pregnant women with HIV passing the virus on to their children
• allow people with HIV to benefit from free prescriptions
• put pressure on the government to make sure every PCT uses its full allocation of new funding to improve facilities in sexual health clinics and reduces waiting times
