This year Terrence Higgins Trust launched its new World AIDS Day campaign, Stand Up, Stand Out, with tremendous success. The campaign was supported
by a number of famous faces, some of whom wore their red pants proudly for Terrence Higgins Trust, including swimmer Mark Foster and Harlequin Rugby Stars, Karl Dickson, Sam Smith and Seb Stegmann.
Nancy Dell’Olio added some glamour to our World AIDS Day Parliamentary Reception, as Dannii Minogue, Stephen Fry and Antony Cotton all took to Twitter in support of our campaign.
Our Community Fundraising team saw a massive increase in the number of resources needed by our dedicated supporters, who were selling ribbons and staging various events in aid of Terrence Higgins Trust.
On Tuesday 1 November The Supper Club raised an incredible £80,000 for Terrence Higgins Trust. Across London 42 separate dinners took place in private homes, unique venues and at some of the capital’s finest restaurants. Together with our long-standing participating restaurants we welcomed for
the first time this year Mr Chow, Pollen Street Social and J. Sheeky among others.
After dinner, guests including Cilla Black, Ronni Ancona, Rory Bremner, Graham Norton and Russell Tovey were chauffeured to Café de Paris for an exclusive after-party hosted by Charlie Condou. With Belvedere Vodka cocktails flowing, guests were entertained by Kentish Fire before dancing the night away to DJ Philly.
Thank you to everyone who supported the event.
