Someone is newly diagnosed with HIV in the UK every 70 minutes. That’s nearly 8,000 people a year. And there’s still no cure. 

What can you do about it? Plenty.  HIV thrives on ignorance. It likes nothing more than shame, embarrassment and denial. Your mission, should you accept it, is to challenge the ignorance and shame – to get your punters talking about sex.

What better place to start than their pants!

Hold a Knickers In A Twist Night for Terrence Higgins Trust on World AIDS Day, 1st December, and get people really thinking about their sexual health - while they’re having fun and raising vital funds, of course. We’ve got a whole bunch of ideas for making the evening buzz, including:

• Underwear fashion show – do you dare show yours?
• Customised Calvins Competition – the bigger they are, the more you can get on them!
• Match the Unmentionables game – who wears which skivvies… and why?
• Who’s Going Commando? – look for the self-satisfied grin
• Drinks promotion – G-String, anyone?

Make it as saucy as you like, so long as the World AIDS Day message is clear. We can help with promotional materials and information, red ribbons and collection tins, condoms and balloons, plus loads of outrageous pant-related ideas.
