Fundraising at college and universityHolding a fundraising event at your college or university is an excellent way to support THT and get pupils and staff talking about HIV and AIDS. | ![]() |
That dreaded time of year is fast approaching again. Exams, deadlines, stress. So, before all that kicks in why not let your hair down and have a little fun? With the summer holidays also just around the corner, a beach party is just the thing to remind yourselves what all the hard work is leading towards.
It can also serve as a perfect way to remind your students about something else that may well be on their minds this summer: sex.
Summer loving is high on the agenda for many young people, but over a third of them won’t use a condom with a new partner. With this in mind, it’s no surprise that the UK is in the middle of a sexual health crisis.
Suddenly that no strings attached fling could have consequences. Serious consequences.
We need your help to get young people talking about sex and its consequences. With a Holiday Fling Beach Party you can make sure your students are well prepared for summer loving and help to raise vital funds for Terrence Higgins Trust, the UK’s leading HIV and sexual health charity.
We have a range of resources to make the evening a great success, along with a whole heap of games, competitions and drink ideas, so if you’re interested in collaborating with us in our fight for better sexual health and want to sign up to an event, simply get in touch with me, Claire.
You can sign up for an event and order fundraising materials here.
After the event don’t forget to send us your photos! We are always looking for photos and stories to include in our annual newsletter and on our website. So if you’ve done something worth shouting about make sure you send us all the details too.
