MegaRaids!
A big big thank you to the 160 students from Nottingham, Nottingham Trent, Gloucestershire, Royal Holloway and Manchester unis who descended on the streets of London to collect for our annual Megaraid street collection to mark World AIDS Day, raising an amazing £5,000 in a few frantic hours.
Once again King’s College London very kindly agreed to host the event, where Carole Vincent, an ex Big Brother housemate and THT volunteer, was on hand to tell the students all about THT’s vital work, which got them raring to go. All the students were provided with hot drinks (essential on a chilly November Saturday), bagels and snacks, plus one of our famous goodie bags were given to every hard-working, foot-sore collector at the end of the day.
