Are there any criteria?

The qualifying criteria is as follows, however there is flexibility:

• You must be on HAART therapay (Highly Active Antiretroviral Therapy) in UK. If you are not on HAART you will not be able to get cover.
• Ideally aged between 25–60
• No history of intravenous drug use
• Treatment should result in increased CD4 cell count and viral load should be suppressed to a near undetectable level
• Hepatitis B & C negative
