Choosing a volunteer role

We've got all kinds of volunteer roles across the country - you can find out about our current vacancies here.

If you are applying to volunteer in one of THT's London centres, we will ask you to come to an orientation session. These are held at our Lighthouse West London centre in Ladbroke Grove.

Orientation sessions

You will have the opportunity to meet current and other prospective volunteers, and to participate in some relaxed group work. You'll find out a lot more about the structure of the charity, the work we do, how to become a volunteer and the opportunities available. The sessions are facilitated by volunteers and last for about three hours. There will be plenty of opportunity for you to ask questions.

At the end of the orientation session you will be offered an application form to take home and complete.

What to do next

Once you have decided on the type of work you’d like to do, send your application to the volunteer coordinator in your area.
