Condom Distribution Volunteers in Barking & Dagenham

The condom distribution scheme in Barking & Dagenham gives young people and adults living in the borough access to FREE condoms. We need volunteers under the age of 25 to work out in the community alongside paid staff to promote the scheme and register people to access the scheme. This will involve going out to schools, health fairs and youth clubs etc to raise awareness and promote the service.

What skills will I need?

You will need to enjoy working with young people, have knowledge of BME communities and sexual health issues, interested in getting trained in proper condom use and be able to do some data entry. You’ll also need to be available some weekends and evenings. The role will involve some lifting and carrying suitcases contacting materials.
