Fundraising volunteers

We always encourage THT volunteers and staff to get involved in our activities throughout the year which help to raise our profile and much needed funds for the work we do.

There are many ways you can help out from office support, helping out at events or participating in such activities as Walk for Life, the London Marathon or Mega Raid (street collection for World AIDS Day) for example. This role will suit anyone interested in supporting our fundraising activities but more especially for those unable to make a regular time commitment expected for most other roles.

Skills you need

We need people with good communication skills, able to get on with a wide range of people, able to motivate people and able to put across your ideas clearly.  You should also have great organisational skills, be able to see a task through from beginning to end, able to deal with lots of things going on at the same time and able to co-ordinate a group of people to do a specific job. It's important you have good social skills too.  We're looking for someone who enjoys social activities & spending time with other people, has self-confidence, enthusiasm and energy and is reliabile and has a strong commitment to representing THT in a positive & constructive way.

Benefits

We provide full training, reimbursement of out of pocket expenses, support and supervision.  We can give you references, and this is a great opportunity to develop and update skills and gain new experiences.
