Every 70 minutes, somebody in the UK is diagnosed with HIV. Find out how you can help Terrence Higgins Trust to be there for them.

Volunteer with us

Volunteers play a vital role in everything that we do. From helping to deliver front-line services to helping with admin, everyone who volunteers is valued beyond measure.

Online moderator

We are currently looking to recruit HIV+ volunteers as online moderators for two new online peer support groups. The first group will allow users to be part of message boards and groups, to make contact with other HIV+ people in South London, and post questions and tips about living with HIV. Anyone living with HIV can apply to volunteer for this project.

The second project is a new website where gay men can meet other men with HIV. We need to recruit gay men living with HIV to provide online moderation to the message boards, chat rooms and forums.

You need to be confident about social networking online, enjoy sharing ideas, helping people to find a way forward and have an interest in developing a peer-support network for people living with HIV. Although full training and support is provided you’ll need to have good IT skills.
