Volunteer interviewer

As a charity we've always depended hugely on the resourcefullness, passion and commitment of our volunteers. We realise that a successful volunteer is one who is fullfilling their needs whilst helping us meet our charity goals. This means volunteering is very much a two way street. An important part of volunteering is matching the right volunteer to the right role.

We recruit many volunteers each year and carry out a large number of interviews. We need more people who can help by becoming a volunteer interviewer and sitting on volunteer interview panels at our main office in Gray’s Inn Road or at our Lighthouse West London centre in Ladbroke Grove. 

There are role descriptions and selection criteria for volunteer roles and there are set interview questions based on these. You'll be asked to commit to one evening or Saturday morning per month and training will be given. You'll be given support by the London Volunteer Co-coordinator.
