CHAPS is a partnership of community-based organisations, co-ordinated by Terrence Higgins Trust, carrying out HIV health promotion with gay men in England and Wales.
The organisations to the right are members and associate members of CHAPS. You can contact them for advice, support and information on sex and sexual health, including counselling, outreach and workshops.
You can find out about some of the CHAPS campaigns, past and present, from our websites:-
The CHAPS partnership also supports a wide-ranging sector development programme of work to enhance the skills of professionals working in the gay men's health sector. The sector development team is also charged with encouraging statutory and voluntary agencies to play a role in improving the health of gay men.
Training on gay men's health issues, facilitating think tank seminars and producing summary reports to inform the sector of the latest thinking in gay men's work all form part of the varied work of Sector Development.
Every year the CHAPS partners meet for an annual conference. You can find out about C11, our 11th conference, here:-
