Unpaid role
Various locations around the country

The Major Grants team is delighted to announce that THT has been awarded a grant of £70,000 from the Department for Innovation Universities and Skills (DIUS) to train people living with HIV to deliver the Positive Self Management Programme (PSMP).

LearningPlus is a joint collaboration between Terrence Higgins Trust (THT) and Global Beach (a leading digital communications company) to establish a self-management learning legacy for adults living with HIV. Through LearningPlus, THT will deliver PSMP training across England and will establish an online support network for those delivering PSMP.

THT will recruit a PSMP Programme Coordinator to implement and coordinate LearningPlus. Their role will be to establish the internal resources for delivering PSMP. This will be achieved through organising training for staff and volunteers who can deliver PSMP and train future trainers.

We are hoping to recruit 11 PSMP Master Trainers (who will have had experience of delivering at least 2 EPP or PSMP courses) to train PSMP Tutors who will go on to deliver the PSMP self-management courses to people living with HIV. We are hoping to recruit at least 30 PSMP Tutors.

Attendance on all 4days is essential, from 10am - 4.30pm approx.
