Terrence Higgins Trust is the UK’s leading HIV and sexual health charity, providing a wide range of services across England, Wales and Scotland.  The charity also campaigns and lobbies for greater political and public understanding of the personal, social and medical impact of HIV and sexual health.

THT’s clinical services are expanding fast and we’re looking to recruit nurses to provide nurse-led clinics that will run across London. These will include an STI test and treat service, HIV testing and some contraceptive services. The clinics are run in a community setting out of premises that range from youth centres to community centres and mainly target ‘at-risk' communities including young people, sex workers, gay men and the African communities.

Most clinics are held in the evening, with some weekend clinics and will run for 3-4 hours. Our nurses will work on a sessional rate and will be able to fit clinics around other work commitments as much as possible.

We're looking for Band 6 nurses with GU and Family Planning experience, although we’ll also consider those without a family planning qualification.
