Sessional Contraceptive and Sexual Health Nurses
NHS Band 6 equivalent
Wiltshire College: Chippenham, Lackham and Trowbridge campuses
£14.42 per hour
We are looking for contraception and sexual health nurses to work within our Level 1 & 2 service based on campus at Wiltshire College to deliver a new, nurse led contraceptive and sexual health service. Daytime and evening sessions are available ranging from 2 to 10 hours per week.
The clinics are held over one evening and three lunch time sessions per week and will offer STI and HIV testing, pregnancy testing, Chlamydia and Gonorrhea treatment, contraception and emergency hormonal contraception.
Nurses will have completed a recognised contraception course and be motivated and committed to the development of community contraception and sexual health services. Our team of nurses will work on a sessional rate and will be able to fit clinics around other work commitments as much as possible. There is flexibility within the role to support a good work life balance.
