Terrence Higgins Trust recruits senior officer to help lead development work in gay men’s health sector

Terrence Higgins Trust is embarking on an ambitious plan of work to build the skills and abilities of the gay men’s health sector, and is currently recruiting a senior health promotion officer to lead this work.  The job holder will work with CHAPS partners and will build a range of training and development packages as well as undertaking work to increase the number of organisations involved in CHAPS.

Will Nutland, Head of Gay Men’s Health Promotion at Terrence Higgins Trust said:   “We’re looking for someone with the skills and enthusiasm to lead an ambitious, collaborative multi-agency programme which will develop the skills and abilities available to the gay men’s health sector.  The job holder will work with key partner agencies to co-ordinate sector development programmes, including training, placements, seminars and conferences.”

Will continued:  “With the CHAPS partnership in its seventh year and now established in Wales, this is a valuable opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-looking team which is at the forefront of designing and providing gay men’s health promotion initiatives.”
