Horse and carriage or chalk and cheese?  How gay men and GPs mix

How often do you visit your GP?  Do you even have one?  Does your GP know you’re gay?  These questions and more were asked of gay men as part of the 2003 Gay Men’s Sex Survey, and are part of a project which aims to help form a better understanding of the relationships between gay men and GPs.

Jetting off for a week of fun in the sun? Don’t forget your condoms!

If you’re flying from Birmingham Airport this week, make sure you look out for the Terrence Higgins Trust stand in the departures lounge of the main airport. For the fourth year running, the charity’s Midlands centre is working with Birmingham Airport and Solihull Primary Care Trust to give out condoms and health promotion advice to young people flying off to European sun, sea and sand destinations.
