Terrence Higgins Trust (THT) has launched a new service for lesbian, gay and bisexual people in Shropshire and Telford and will open a new office in Wellington, Telford at the end of September.

New services include:

• counselling
• free condoms and lube
• advice on HIV, STI's and hepatitis A, B and C
• assertiveness skills workshops
• community care and support for people living with HIV
• advice, support and referral around all aspects of gay life.

The team also plan to set up support groups for lesbian, gay and bisexual people and people living with HIV, as well as HIV and STI testing services.
