The Lighthouse Gala Auction 2006 in aid of Terrence Higgins Trust

The Lighthouse Gala Auction, supported by Barclays, will see London’s fashionable set come together at Christie’s to raise much-needed funds for Terrence Higgins Trust, Europe’s leading HIV and sexual health charity.

When: Wednesday 15 March 2006 from 6.30pm

Now in its tenth year, the event has raised over £1.25 million for Terrence Higgins Trust and has become a highlight of London's most glamorous social calendar.

Terrence Higgins Trust is lucky to have many high profile supporters. In the last year the charity’s events have been attended by Ewan McGregor, Erin O’Connor, Jade Parfitt, Lilly Cole, Jasmine Guinness, Tracy Emin, David Furnish, Kenny Goss and Joan Rivers.

As usual there will be a fantastic array of luxury items, bespoke packages and 'money can't buy' experiences on offer at the auction.  Lots this year include:

  • A Patrick Lichfield print – his last signed work, printed especially for Terrence Higgins Trust. Patrick Lichfield was a patron of the charity.
  • A walk on part in Nip/Tuck
  • Signed works by Tracey Emin
  • A one-to-one swimming lesson with world champion swimmer Mark Foster
  • Your name in Jake Arnott’s next novel
  • An absolutely fabulous shopping extravaganza at Harvey Nichols with Joanna Lumley
  • Billy Elliot workshop – a chance for your child to work with the show's Associate Director
