In early 2006 Terrence Higgins Trust is launching two initiatives on sexual health aimed at gay men in London.

The first is a ‘Healthier Gay Men’ group which will meet regularly to discuss sexual health issues, relationship problems, depression and dealing with addictions.  The group, held on Monday evenings, will start on January 9 and will run from 7.30pm to 9.30pm for twelve weeks. It will be held at Health First next to London Bridge Station.

The second initiative is a one day event on February 4 called ‘A day of Gay Men’s Health’ where a series of workshops will cover topics such as ‘dealing with prejudice and diversity’ and ‘a Positive approach to HIV’.  There will be a facilitated discussion group towards the end of the day for feedback and to explore gay men’s health needs. This will also be held at Health First from 10am – 4pm.

The events are funded by Southwark Alliance and are open to all gay men, however, priority will be given to men who live or work in Southwark.  For further information or to enrol in either of these events please contact Simon at Terrence Higgins Trust on 020 7835 1495.
