Terrence Higgins Trust receives BBC Children in Need funding for youth counsellor

Terrence Higgins Trust has received a BBC Children in Need grant of over £38,000 to fund a specialist young people’s counsellor over the next three years.  The post, which is based in various venues across London three days a week, will offer counselling around sexual health, sex and relationships and sexual orientation to young people aged 13 to 18.

Legal developments prompt Terrence Higgins Trust to update their ‘Should I tell’ leaflet on HIV disclosure

Recent prosecutions for transmitting HIV have prompted Terrence Higgins Trust to update their ‘Should I tell’ leaflet on disclosure of HIV status.  The updated booklet gives people with HIV clear information on where they stand legally around disclosure to sexual partners, as well as practical advice on telling friends or employers that they have the condition.

Counselling service announced for lesbian and gay young people in Wolverhampton

Terrence Higgins Trust (THT) is launching 'Here for You', a new counselling service for lesbian, gay and bisexual (LGB) young people aged 13 to 25 in Wolverhampton. The service is being provided in partnership with local youth project Base 25 and will be available at THT‘s offices in the city centre and at Base 25.
