Terrence Higgins Trust appeals for volunteers in Sussex

Terrence Higgins Trust (THT) is launching a volunteer recruitment drive in Sussex today.  The HIV and sexual health charity is looking for local people who are able to give up some of their time to support its work.

Opportunities locally include:

o       Helping with outreach work and campaigns

o       Community support - offering emotional and social support to local people living with HIV.

o       Training

o       Group work facilitation

o       Joining Positive Voices, a group of people with HIV who speak publicly about their experiences of living with the condition.

o       Making up safer sex packs

and much more!

Sue Peters, regional manager for THT said “Our volunteers play a vital role in our work and without them, we couldn’t provide all the services we do.  In return for giving up some of your time we’ll ensure you’re trained and supported.  It’s also a great opportunity to make new friends. If you’re interested in making a difference and would like to help Terrence Higgins Trust please get in touch”

Roles cover Brighton & Hove and East Sussex. The deadline for applications is end of February with training beginning in March.  For further information or to request an application pack please call 01273 764200 or email info.south@tht.org.uk
