Paul Ward - Deputy Chief Executive

Paul Ward worked in the NHS in South London from 1983 – 1996 for Bromley Health Authority, Kings College Hospital and Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham Health Authority, where he was Director of Corporate Business. During this time he worked in a number of health settings including acute, community and mental health services. He has also served on a number of national Department of Health working parties.

He edited the self-help magazine Positive Nation in 1996 and 1997, and since 1997 has worked at Terrence Higgins Trust where he currently is Deputy Chief Executive.

Paul is a spokesperson for:

  • HIV and sexual health policy
  • THT services and service development.

Paul is also a non-Executive Director for South East London Health Authority.
