Brand names: Prezista
Class: Individual Protease Inhibitors (PIs)
Common: diarrhoea, nausea, abdominal pain, indigestion, vomiting, flatulence, headache, tiredness, dizziness, drowsiness, weakness, numbness, tingling or pain in hands or feet, difficulty falling asleep, diabetes. Rare: Abnormal liver function, changes in heart rhythm, kidney problems, severe rash, heart attack, visual disturbance, chills, confusion, restlessness, fainting, fits, dry lips, running nose.
600mg and 800mg tablets.Take 800mg with 100mg ritonavir or 150mg cobicistat once a day, or 600mg with 100mg ritonavir twice a day.
Take with food.
