HIV charity urges Suffolk to Stand Up and Stand Out for World AIDS Day

HIV and sexual health charity Terrence Higgins Trust is calling on the people of Suffolk to stand up against HIV-related stigma this World AIDS Day (1st December). To mark the occasion, the charity has launched its Stand Up, Stand Out campaign, which aims to raise funds for people living with HIV and banish the stigma that still exists around the condition today.

HIV stigma in Gloucestershire unacceptably high, says local charity

In Gloucestershire, a woman isolated herself from her loved ones through fear of rejection, and another was bullied out of the workplace by colleagues, for no other reason than the fact they are living with HIV.
