Chris Bones - Chair

Chris Bones is a consultant, author, educator, non-executive director and adviser. He runs his own business (Hammersley & Bones), has just written his second book (The Cult of the Leader), holds the chair in Creativity and Leadership at the University of Manchester Business School and is Dean Emeritus of the Henley Business School and has advised both this and the last government in business and industry policy, fair pay and higher education.

He currently advises KPMG, the BBC and BSkyB amongst others on strategic HR Management, change, leadership and leadership development. He holds a couple of non-executive directorships and is Chair of the global supervisory group for AIESEC International, the world’s largest student-run organisation. He and his wife have been Associate Friends for Life for some years now and regular donors to Terrence Higgins Trust.

As an active supporter and donor, the opportunity to join the Trustees and to support the charity through what will be some highly challenging years was one he was very keen to accept.
