David Steyn

David has worked in investment for over thirty years, based both in the UK and USA, and has been a director of and / or chaired Boards in four continents. In addition he was the founding director / CEO of three investment companies. He is the author of "Risk Return: Engineering Market Neutral".

His interest in HIV and public health began with his involvement with a grassroots charity working in this field in South Africa in 2007. Other pro bono work is predominately as a member of the Court (effectively Board of Directors) of the University of Aberdeen where he first became involved through being a trustee of its US fund raising arm.

He is an non-executive director of a publicly quoted digital marketing and online print company.

David was born and brought up in Aberdeen where he graduated in law, and is currently resident in London.
