Neil Beasley

Neil has been a board member for a year and previously was Editor of Positive Times, a national monthly magazine for people with HIV. Neil has personal experiences of the ups and downs of life with HIV and hepatitis C and has always strived to overcome those challenges and do his best for the people around him.

Neil now works as a managing director of a healthcare agency which advises industry, charities and companies on how to communicate better to patients and those that look after them. He decided to put himself up for election to the Terrence Higgins Trust board because he felt that he could contribute a wide range of knowledge to the Trust that would be helpful in developing the services of the future.

This is also a personal development journey for him and a chance to combine his professional knowledge with his personal experiences. Neil says every board meeting is a learning opportunity and a two-way process where he learns as much as he contributes.
