Phil is currently the Programme Manager for HIV and Sexual Health with NHS Health Scotland. He has worked in public health, addictions and sexual health in the NHS and both local and Scottish Government for 25 years, in addition to being a past director of HIV, hepatitis C and bereavement charities. Phil has admired Terrence Higgins Trust since the very early days of the epidemic in the UK and bought his first Terrence Higgins Trust fundraising record in 1985!
Since then Phil has relied on the Trust for high quality and timely information, innovation in policy and practice and a person-centred approach to advocacy. He is impressed by the scope of the work Terrence Higgins Trust impacts upon and the passion they employ in their relish for change.
As a new Board Trustee, Phil has already gained fantastic insight into Terrence Higgins Trust’s unique role, contribution and approach.
