Kiehl's

In 2008, Terrence Higgins Trust and Kiehl’s launched a fantastic campaign to celebrate ‘What is Beautiful to You?’

To tie in with this, celebrity supporters Tamara Beckwith, Allegra Hicks, Mathew Horne, David James, Petra Nemcova and Gail Porter created designs for Kiehl’s canvas bags to communicate what ‘beautiful’ means to them.

Mathew Horne’s fantastic design was sold exclusively in Selfridges for World AIDS Day and Allegra Hicks’s beautiful bag was available at all Kiehl’s stores across the UK during December. Every bag was priced £5 and 100 per cent of the profits from each one sold was donated to Terrence Higgins Trust.

Kiehl’s also donated 100 per cent of the proceeds from sales of its customer favorite Lip Balm #1 to Terrence Higgins Trust. As if this wasn't enough they also sold a limited number of ‘New York Adorned’ sterling silver gear caps that were available in their Kings Road and Monmouth Street stores. Priced at £150, every time a Kiehl’s Lip Balm #1 with a NY Adorned gear cap was sold, an extra £50 donation was made to us.

The company also regularly supports Terrence Higgins Trust through corporate donations, by selling red ribbons for World AIDS Day and by contributing gifts-in-kind.

Joelle Saadia, General Manager of Kiehl’s UK says: 'We at Kiehl’s are so proud to be supporting Terrence Higgins Trust who do such honorable work supporting and assisting people who really need them.'
