Organising your own event is a really exciting way to fundraise for Terrence Higgins Trust. There are no restrictions and you have complete freedom to decide how you want to raise money.
Of course that freedom isn’t helpful if you don’t have any ideas in the first place! That’s why we’ve created this list of fabulous fundraising ideas to kick start that difficult decision process….

Put on your apron and show off your inner baking god/dess! Try a bake-a-thon, a cake making competition or just a simple cake sale in your office.

Need an excuse to clear that clutter? Why not hold a charity clothes swap. Invite all your friends and spruce up your wardrobes while raising vital funds, everyone’s a winner!

Find your inner geek and test your brain cells with a charity quiz night.

Well not literally, but why not hold a promises auction selling willing volunteers’ talents to the highest bidder? Think housework, car washing, cooking or even some more specialist talents.

Any excuse for a party! Host a party, whether it’s dinner, dancing or fancy dress and ask for an entry donation from guests

Surprise your colleagues with what you normally wear at the weekends (within reason!!) and organise a dress down Friday.

Sit in a bath of baked beans, hold a pie eating competition, dye half of your beard – but most of all enjoy yourself! Get sponsored to do it and let your friends join in too.
