Employee fundraising

commuters going to work

Get your colleagues thinking about the millions of people around the world living with HIV. Organising an event to fundraise for Terrence Higgins Trust in your workplace can be as simple or as complicated as you like.

If time is tight the easiest thing you can do is sell red ribbons - the most poignant reminder that HIV hasn't gone away - around your workplace. To ensure maximum participation, combine it with a dress-down day (a free ribbon to everyone who participates). Or, if you want to take it a stage further, get everyone to wear something red, perhaps on 1 December, World AIDS Day.

If you're feeling sociable, what about taking your event out of the office and into the pub? We can provide you with a red-themed quiz kit - all you’ll need to find is people and pencils. The winning team get to come in late the following morning (this is the boss's contribution so make sure you get it in writing!)

And if you want to go it alone, why not try a sponsored abstinence - no tea or coffee for a fortnight, perhaps? Yes it sounds like torture, but no pain, no gain!

However you choose to fundraise, we can help with ribbons, posters, leaflets, balloons and some
all-important moral support.
