The Supper Club

Revellers at the 2012 Supper Club

The Supper Club on 31 October 2012 was a fantastic evening which saw more than 40 dinner parties being hosted across London, with a glamorous after-party at One Mayfair.

Terrence Higgins Trust supporters hosted dinners at some of London’s finest restaurants including China Tang, Chrysan, Locanda Locatelli and Gauthier Soho. Others were treated to intimate dinner parties at home, with mouth-watering food provided by caters such as Ottolenghi and William Norris & Company.

Thanks to the success of the dinner parties, raffle and silent auction, the event raised an incredible £90,000 which will go towards helping the 100,000 people living with HIV in the UK.

Genevieve Edwards, Terrence Higgins Trust’s Executive Director of Fundraising, says: 'I'm thrilled that this incredible event raised such a fantastic sum to support people living with HIV in the UK. Bringing the very best in food and drink together with our amazing supporters added up to a wonderful night and a real recipe for success.'

Genevieve continues: 'As we approach World AIDS Day, it’s a fitting time to raise awareness of the challenges and stigma that people with HIV still face today. We are thrilled that so many guests turned out on the evening to help us do just that.'

We would like to express our huge gratitude to all members of the Supper Club Committee, our sponsors and suppliers. Their hard work and generosity were crucial in making the event so very special and we are tremendously grateful.
