There is a new service that helps people living with HIV to find life insurance - and for each policy sold Terrence Higgins Trust gets a donation.
Lifebroker assists people who are living with HIV to obtain life insurance discreetly and efficiently. A donation of £10 plus VAT will be made to Terrence Higgins Trust for every policy bought from Lifebroker.
Are there any criteria?
The qualifying criteria are as follows, however there is flexibility:
- You must be on antiretroviral treatment in UK to be able to get cover.
- Ideally you should be aged between 25-60.
- If you have a history of intravenous drug use, you won't be able to apply.
- To qualify, your treatment should have resulted in an increased CD4 cell count and your viral load should be suppressed to a near undetectable level.
- You should be hepatitis B and hepatitis C negative.
Submit your personal information and Lifebroker will provide you with personalised quotes via phone or email. When you are ready to apply for cover you can do so using our secure online application process. Your application will be treated individually so it is always worth speaking to someone at Lifebroker about your personal circumstances.
