Redbridge sexual health services

We have a dedicated HIV prevention and sexual health promotion service in Redbridge, offering a range of services to local residents.

Redbridge HIV Prevention Service

We're working hard to increase awareness and reduce undiagnosed HIV in the area and are keen to work in partnership with local organisations.

Redbridge has been identified as one of many areas within London with a high late diagnosis rate, which means that a significant proportion of people infected with HIV are undiagnosed and unaware of their infection.

Our services

We have a dedicated HIV prevention and sexual health promotion service in Redbridge, offering a range of services to local residents.

The Redbridge HIV Prevention Service runs a range of free services to meet your needs:

For chlamydia and gonorrhoea testing please visit your local GUM or CASH clinic. If you are aged 15 to 24, you can also test for Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea at your local GP or pharmacy.

Would you like to support us by becoming an HIV Prevention Peer Educator? For more information about our Peer Educators or any of the above services, call 020 7046 6072 or email hivredbridge@tht.org.uk.

In some cases, we can offer appointments for a rapid HIV test at our Barking office (20 East Street Barking, IG11 8EU.) However, appointments must be made beforehand and are restricted to Redbridge residents.

Drop-in HIV testing

We offer a daily HIV testing drop in service for Redbridge residents at our Clements Road office. Please contact us on 020 8069 0100 or email hivredbridge@tht.org.uk to avoid disappointment.

Free condoms

You can access free condoms if you live in Redbridge through our C-Card programme. The programme is designed to promote condom use among young people (13-25) and those most at risk of acquiring a sexually transmitted infection.

This is a free and confidential service. All you need to give is your name, date of birth, full postcode (not your address), and ethnic origin. Once registered with a C-Card you can visit any participating outlets with this logo Come Correct logo on the window to get more condoms.

Find out where you can sign up to the scheme.
