Why you might need this

If you think you have been at risk of a sexually transmitted infection (STI) and you want to find out as soon as possible, this service is for you.

You may have symptoms or you may be worried that you contracted an STI recently or some time ago, and you are keen to have it treated and not to pass it onto anyone else. When you get your results, you want to be able to talk to somebody about them.

We can help you

You can be tested for a range of STIs and blood borne viruses including HIV, Syphilis, Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, Hepatitis A, B and C*.

Most STIs are easily treated, and you can get the information and support you need. You will get your results back really quickly – some within the hour and most within a few days.

* Not all tests are available in all centres.

Our quality commitment

To ensure that all our clinical services provide you with a high standard of care and treatment and are safe, they are provided within THT's clinical governance framework. This means that our staff are trained to undertake their roles, we have clear policies and procedures in place and work within national guidelines and standards. We regularly monitor our services and welcome feedback from our service users.
