Why you might need this

If you are HIV positive and you have a short term financial need in a crisis situation, we may be able to help.

First we will assess your needs to ensure this is the help you require, so please phone to check your eligibility.

To check this we will require information from you, including proof of your HIV diagnosis and proof of income.

We can help you

This service may provide you with a one-off small cash payment to address your specific situation. Grants can be used to support with basic necessities such as food, clothing, urgent utilities (e.g. gas card, electric card, telephone card or water card), bedding, towels and travel to either welfare or clinical appointments.

We may also be able to provide you with information and advice about your financial situation, and refer you to benefits advice services.

This service can help you reach a more stable financial position from which you can manage your health.

Our quality commitment

Once we have received your application form and documents, a decision on whether your application has been successful will be made within five working days.
