Welfare Rights
If you have concerns around HIV or other sexually transmitted infections, or concerns about sexuality, drugs or alcohol, and you want to meet other people in the same position, one of these groups may help.
Office: Brighton office
Times: Each workshop runs from 10.30am to 1.30pm. Please call the centre for dates.
For: These workshops are for anyone living with HIV and cover either Employment and Support Allowance, Benefits or Work and Disability Allowance.
The Lounge
Times: Evenings, once a fortnight for eight sessions. Call the centre for specific times.
For: This eight-session programme is for gay or bisexual men living in Sussex who have been HIV positive for at least one year.
Community Support Group
Office: Coventry Office
Times: Last Wednesday of the month: 12 noon to 2pm
For: This group is for anyone living with HIV in Coventry.
Peer support group
Office: Gloucester office
Times: Thursday: 9.30am to 8pm
For: This group is for anyone in Gloucestershire.
LGBT Young People's Group
Office: Glasgow office
Times: Please call the centre for times.
For: This group is for young lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people living in Lanarkshire.
Positively Social - Hastings
Office: Eastbourne office
Times: Held on the first Monday of each month - please call the centre for times.
For: This monthly group is for anyone living with HIV.
Groupwork London - Hep C / HIV Co-infection
Office: King's Cross centre
Times: Six-week programme: 6.30pm to 9pm
For: Held over three consecutive Saturdays or six evenings, this group offers support for HIV positive gay and bisexual men who also have hepatitis C. Topics include disclosure, transmission, treatments, re-infection and emotional wellbeing. The course aims to increase knowledge and confidence in discussing their condition and coping with issues specific to co-infection.
Groupwork London - Call Yourself a Sex Addict?
Times: Eight-week programme: 6.30pm to 9pm
For: This eight-week programme is for gay men in London who see themselves as a sex addict or sexual compulsive and feel that their sexual behaviour could be having an overwhelming and negative impact upon their lives.
Positively Social - Eastbourne
Times: Once a month on a Thursday afternoon - please call the centre for times.
For: This group is for anyone living with HIV in East Sussex.
Parent-Baby Group
Times: First Wednesday of the month: 12 noon to 2pm
For: This group is for parents living with HIV in Coventry.
