Why you might need this

If you think you may be pregnant or you think you may have a sexually transmitted infection (STI) and you want to find out quickly, this service is for you.

You may have symptoms of an STI or you may want information and advice on safer sex. Alternatively you may want condoms, contraceptive advice and information or emergency contraception.

We can help you

Finding out about contraception, discovering whether you are pregnant or being tested for sexually transmitted infections enables you to make clear decisions about your life. Whatever the test result, you can get the information and support you need to plan what to do next.

You can be tested for a range of STIs and blood borne viruses including HIV, Syphilis, Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea and Hepatitis A, B and C*. You will get your results back quickly and the clinics open at convenient times including evenings, Saturdays and weekday mornings.

* Not all tests are available at all centres.

Our quality commitment

To ensure that all our clinical services provide you with a high standard of care and treatment and are safe, they are provided within THT's clinical governance framework. This means that our staff are trained to undertake their roles, we have clear policies and procedures in place and work within national guidelines and standards. We regularly monitor our services and welcome feedback from our service users.
