Learn about hepatitis and how it is transmitted and treated on our half-day course.

What’s it about?

Attendees will be given an overview of the liver and learn about the symptoms and long-term health issues around liver disease as well as information about what hepatitis is and the difference between viral and non- viral hepatitis. Understanding the differences between the different types of hepatitis - from A to G -including transmission, symptoms, treatment, epidemiology and living with chronic viral hepatitis.

What’s the benefit?

Hepatitis is a major health issue across the world and there is a lot of confusion and fear around the different types of hepatitis virus. Anyone working in health and social care, prisons, and drug and alcohol projects will benefit from this course.

What does the training involve?

Half-day training can be delivered at any place of work or at a Terrence Higgins Trust centre.
