Our safeguarding course will give you all the information you need when working with vulnerable groups.
What’s it about?
You will learn about will the legislation protecting vulnerable children and adults and the reasons why organisations need policies and procedures for dealing with safeguarding concerns. It will also enable learners to understand their responsibilities for safeguarding vulnerable groups.
What’s the benefit?
It is a legal requirement that any staff member dealing with vulnerable groups is trained in safeguarding following recommendations from the Victoria Climbie case.
What does the training involve?
This is a half-day interactive training course that includes case studies and explores personal values.
When is it happening?
