During these challenging times we'll continue making free condoms available to people in the Bedford area to reduce the risk of unintended pregnancy and transmission of sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

We encourage everyone to practise social distancing and don't encourage sexual activity with new partners outside of your household during the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, we're making free condoms available by post if you need them.

To be eligible, you must:

  • be aged 16 or over,
  • live at an address within Central Bedfordshire and Bedford Borough postcodes.

Any other orders will not be processed.

If you live outside this area, see which other areas you can order free condoms by post.

If you're aged 16 to 24, you'll receive a C-Card Lite with your condoms. You'll be signed up to the C-Card scheme and can use the card to access free condoms from any of our C-Card outlets.

Find out more about condoms and how to use them on Young and Free.

If you are aged 13 to 15, you'll need to go to a C-Card registration point to get condoms, which will involve a short one-to-one discussion.

If you are aged 16-24 and live in central Bedfordshire or Bedford Borough you can also get a free chlamydia postal test.
