We're making free condoms available to people in the Bedford area to reduce the risk of unintended pregnancy and transmission of sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

Please note that deliveries may be delayed by ongoing postal strikes. Please see Royal Mail for the latest dates and information - we're sorry for any inconvenience.

To be eligible, you must:

  • be aged 16 or over,
  • live at an address within Central Bedfordshire and Bedford Borough postcodes.

Any other orders will not be processed.

If you live outside this area, see which other areas you can order free condoms by post. If you live in Luton please contact Luton Sexual Health.

If you're aged 16 to 24, you'll receive a C-Card Lite with your condoms. You'll be signed up to the C-Card scheme and can use the card to access free condoms from any of our C-Card outlets.

Find out more about condoms and how to use them on Young & Free.

If you are aged 13 to 15, you'll need to go to a C-Card registration point to get condoms, which will involve a short one-to-one discussion.

If you are aged 16-24 and live in central Bedfordshire or Bedford Borough you can also get a free chlamydia postal test.
