The Advisory Board acts as a sounding board for the chief executive and the trustees.

The members provide expert and objective advice to the charity, challenging and scrutinising key issues in a supportive way.

Because it's not part of the formal governance of the charity, the Advisory Board can be independent and objective in its feedback.
